Peter Adams Agencies Summer Tournament Final this Sunday
This week has seen the HPC grounds basking in sunshine. The Summer Tournament having started on Sunday (due to the previous week's rain delay) has been in play all week with some fantastic encounters between the teams. Who makes it to Sunday's final is still to be decided with everything going down to Saturday's matches. One thing is for sure the main final on Sunday is set to be a great display of polo. Make sure not to miss the action and book in to visit the club on Sunday afternoon!

Summer Tournament Group Games
Student Beehive vs Jacaranda
Student Beehive and Jacaranda commenced the 2017 Peter Adams Agencies Summer Tournament in style with a hard fought game on Sunday. Jacaranda featured an altered line-up with Ed Banner-Eve slotting in place of Henry Porter in the Jacaranda team. Banner-Eve is a familiar face on the HPC field having played in many a club tournament before as an outside player. Now off a handicap of three goals Banner-Eve joined up with Hamza Mawaz for a formidable line-up with the purple patrons Robert and Henri de By
On the Student Beehive team were HPC player's Simon Chamberlain, Hugo Montgomery and Gus Prentice playing with professional player and Gold Cup winner Alastair Paterson. The match was a close affair with the teams level until the second half in which Jacaranda took an unassailable lead into the final bell.

Peter Pitts Trophy
The first game on Sunday's programme was the Peter Pitts Trophy. This was an excellent match with outside team Quat Quatta taking on HPC's Brothers Cider. The game turned out to be the fastest of the afternoon. Guat Quatta pro Jack Berner took some storming runs down the field to keep his team in contention. The Brothers Cider played some excellent team play between all four of their players to take the silverware.
Rerrieson Cup
The second match of the day was between Guapos Malditos and Uno Mas. Guapos Malditos had the better first half taking the lead. In the final chukka Uno Mas came close to levelling with a flurish of goals that just came short giving the win to Guapos Malditos.
The Dubai Trophy Semi-Finals and after party are set for Friday August 4th. Keep the date in your diary for what looks to be a fantastic evening of superb polo and after party. Ticket information coming soon.
