Team Rosters Announced for Nic Roldan's 2nd Annual Sunset Polo & White Party Hosted by Mark and Katherine Bellissimo at The Wanderers Club
Wellington, FL - March 22, 2017 - The teams and rosters are finalized for the 12-goal charity polo match at Nic Roldan's 2nd Annual Sunset Polo & White Party hosted by Mark and Katherine Bellissimo to benefit Brooke USA. The 4-chukker exhibition polo match and social event takes place Friday, March 24 at The Wanderers Club in Wellington.
Teams will represent Tito's Handmade Vodka and Aithon Capital Management. The roster for Tito's Vodka includes: Nic Roldan (8-goal handicap), Grant Ganzi (2), Henry Porter (1) and Justin Daniels (1). Playing for Aithon Capital are: Martin Pepa (5), Brandon Phillips (5), Timmy Dutta (0) and Tony Calle (2).
The evening will include guest appearances by Jessica Springsteen and Adrienne Sternlicht. The two accomplished grand prix show jumpers will try their hand at polo in the last chukker, with Springsteen playing for Tito's Vodka and Sternlicht taking a spot in the Aithon Capital Management lineup.
"The whole concept of this game was to create teams that combine older, more experienced players with the younger generation in the sport," said Roldan, who founded and organized the event. "We want to give talented young players the chance to play some fun polo and be part of this worthy cause."
Nic Roldan is an official ambassador for Brooke USA, the American non-profit that supports the world's largest international equine welfare charity, Brooke, Action For Working Horses and Donkeys. Proceeds from the event will be used to help working horses, donkeys, mules, and the people who rely on them around the world.
Doors for the event open at 5:30 p.m., and the game starts at 6:30 p.m. Guests will enjoy a fun-filled evening featuring food, drinks, live and silent auctions, and entertainment. The dress code is "shades of white."Only 100 General Admission tickets remain for Nic Roldan's 2nd Annual Sunset Polo & White Party, adult tickets are $75, featuring a cash bar and Argentine-style Asado, while children 12 and under will enjoy all the event offers, including its signature miniature horses, for $25. A limited number of VIP Veranda tables are still available at $5,000, which includes dinner for eight people, as well as an open bar. VIP ticket sales will close on Thursday, March 23 at noon.
